Implementing Legislation

Reporting
The Polish Government advises that suspected incidents of foreign bribery be reported to the police, the public prosecution authorities, or the Central Anticorruption Bureau. For non-Polish speakers, it recommends making initial contact with the Office of International Cooperation of the Police. Anonymous reporting is permitted. Verbal and written reports can be accepted in Polish (official language) and in English. Supporting evidence can be translated. Whenever necessary, the help of translators called by the Police or Prosecutor can be used to question a person or translate a received document. To call Poland from another country, use the international access code +48. It is also possible to report information regarding suspected incidents of foreign bribery to the Polish embassy in the country where the bribery is alleged to have occurred. Polish public officials are required to report evidence of foreign bribery to the Polish enforcement authorities.
