Foreign Bribery is a Crime
Bribery of a foreign public official has been a criminal offence in Slovenia since 23 April 1999. Bribery that occurred prior to this date may also be a criminal offence if any part of the offence took place in Slovenia.
Implementing Legislation

Reporting
The Slovenian Government advises that suspected incidents of foreign bribery be reported to the State Prosecutor General of the Republic of Slovenia, the Police, or the Commission for the Prevention of Corruption. Anonymous reporting is permitted. Verbal and written reports can be accepted in Slovene (official language) and in Croatian, English, German, Italian and Serbian. Further information on reporting foreign bribery is available from BRIBING FOREIGN PUBLIC OFFICIALS: REPORTING CASES OF CORRUPTION WITNESS PROTECTION: INTERNATIONAL CORRUPTION. To call Slovenia from another country, use the international access code +386. It is also possible to report information regarding suspected incidents of foreign bribery to the Slovenian embassy in the country where the bribery is alleged to have occurred. Slovenian public officials are required to report suspicions of foreign bribery to the Slovenian enforcement authorities.
