Implementing Legislation
Reporting
The Finnish Government advises that suspected incidents of foreign bribery be reported to either the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) or the Office of the Prosecutor General. The NBI is part of the Finnish police. Anonymous reporting is permitted. Verbal and written reports can be accepted in Finnish and Swedish (official languages) and in English. To call Finland from another country, use the international access code +358. It is also possible to report information regarding suspected incidents of foreign bribery to the Finnish embassy in the country where the bribery is alleged to have occurred. Finnish public officials are required to report evidence of foreign bribery to the Finnish enforcement authorities.
