Foreign Bribery is a Crime
Bribery of a foreign public official has been a criminal offence in the Republic of Korea since 15 February 1999. Bribery that occurred prior to this date may also be a criminal offence if any part of the offence took place in the Republic of Korea.

Reporting
The Republic of Korea Government advises that suspected incidents of foreign bribery be reported to either the Korea Independent Commission against Corruption (KICAC) or the Supreme Prosecutor's Office. Anonymous reporting is not permitted. Verbal and written reports can be accepted in Korean (official language) and in English. Supporting evidence can be translated. To call the Republic of Korea from another country, use the international access code +82. It is also possible to report information regarding suspected incidents of foreign bribery to the South Korean embassy in the country where the bribery is alleged to have occurred.
